Oatmeal is a great carbohydrate alternative for dogs who may be sensitive to wheat or other grains. Oats are packed with linoleic acid, a type of omega-6 fatty acid that helps keep skin strong and healthy. Oatmeal is also great source of fiber, making it beneficial for dogs with bowel irregularity issues.
Coconut oil is a healthy fat that is safe for dogs and humans alike. It gently elevates the metabolism, provides a higher level of energy, and speeds healing. Coconut oil can also improve dogs' skin and coat and aid in digestion.
CBD stands for "cannabidiol" which is an all-natural cannabinoid derived from the hemp flower. 100% of our CBD is from sun-grown hemp from sustainable US farms. CBD isolate is made from hemp oil that's been refined down to pure CBD. Unlike many CBD products that are made from a full-spectrum hemp extract, Calming Crunchies are made from pure CBD isolate, which means they are 100% THC-free.

Can Your Dog Eat Peanut Butter?
Yes, your dog can have a little peanut butter - as a treat! You might have read about the risks of too much peanut butter for dogs, but it’s important to know that many of these are associated with a sweetener called xylitol. This ingredient can negatively impact liver cells and lower blood sugar in dogs, which is why xylitol is NOT an ingredient in our peanut butter CBD dog treats.
Instead, our Calming Crunchies are made with natural peanut butter and other wholesome, organic ingredients, like rolled oats, coconut oil, rye flour, rosemary extract, and CBD isolate.
Why Do Dogs Like Peanut Butter?
If you’ve ever fed a dog a small spoonful of peanut butter, you know they go crazy for this delicious snack. That’s because the roasting process transforms the proteins and fats that nuts contain to smell a lot like meat. Essentially, dogs instinctively seek out foods that are rich in nutrients, and peanut butter is one of these foods.
Just from a quick whiff, dogs know that peanut butter is full of good fats.
How Much Peanut Butter Can Dogs Eat?
Peanut butter is considered a treat, and treats should make up about 10% of a dog’s total caloric intake. If you’re giving a dog peanut butter by itself, small dogs should have no more than ½ tablespoon and larger dogs should have no more than a full tablespoon. When it comes to our peanut butter CBD treats, we recommend the following serving sizes:
3mg (1/2 treat) per serving for a 20-30lb dog.
6mg (1 treat) per serving for a 50-60lb dog.
12mg (2 treats) per serving for 100lb+ dog.
Benefits of Peanut Butter for Dogs
Once again, peanut butter is rich in proteins and fats. It also contains Vitamin B (great for metabolism and energy regulation), Vitamin E (for anti-inflammation) and niacin for daily body function.
